This challenge can be easily completed by fighting with weaker demons. The mastery requires you to kill 5 demons in 5 seconds. A good choice if you want to always be ready to use the Chaingun.
Thanks to that you can start shooting without waiting for the Chaingun to spin-up. Instead, it allows you to continuously spin the barrels. This modification doesn't have any direct offensive capabilities. This weapon has two modifications - Gatling Rotator and Mobile Turret. A great weapon against slow and heavily armored enemies. Chaingun needs to spin-up before it can start shooting. It deals a lot of damage but it also slows the Doom Marine down. Thanks to this method you won't have to start this level from the beginning.Ĭhaingun is one of the best weapons in the game. Reload the last checkpoint - you will be able to participate in the same fight again (you don't lose any progress made in the challenges). Always pause the game once you deal with the demons. After jumping into the shaft, you encounter a large group of various enemies (in the small room and in the adjacent long corridor). The beginning of Lazarus Labs level is a great place for completing the majority of the mastery challenges for the modifications - specifically the part after you obtain a Siphon Grenade.Complete these challenges to get modification masteries and to receive unique abilities. Usually, they require you to kill demons in very specific ways or within a certain time limit. To unlock it you will have to complete a challenge related to that modification. After purchasing all upgrades for a given modification, you can start unlocking its mastery (see the picture above).You can purchase them with upgrade points which are received by completing mission challenges and by exterminating all enemies in levels. Each modification has a set of regular upgrades (the picture above shows Energy Efficient and Light Weight upgrades).Unlock new modifications by finding Field Drones. Every newly acquired weapon is added to your inventory permanently.Also, some of them can be found earlier thanks to exploration. The most important ones are obtained in specific parts of the game.
